Simply stated, the cts is a very enjoyable car. The 3. 6-liter v6 generates 263 horsepower and revs freely. The engine features the latest technology, with variable valve timing and high-pressure direct fuel injection for the current optimum in power, fuel economy, and low emissions. The cts features sophisticated suspension systems developed, among other places, at the famous nurburgring race track in germany. The suspension delivers a good balance of handling response and ride comfort. The ride is always comfortable, but always well damped and never mushy. Steering is as fluid, as accurate and as nicely weighted as that in any sedan in the world. The cts feels solidly put together, and it's quiet underway. Inside, the theme is black with brushed metal and chrome accents. It's very contemporary, very modern, very attractive and very space efficient. In short, the driver is held in securely yet comfortably to properly operate the car, and the passengers enjoy a feeling of ease, confidence and luxury. It's great to see cadillac offer such a terrific interior. The cadillac cts earns five stars in the front-passenger and in both side-impact tests from nhtsa (national highway traffic safety administration). The iihs (insurance institute for highway safety) gives the cts "good" ratings for impacts front and side, and the cts is on their top safety pick list.
